Audio links encountered may be downloaded with a right-click (control-click :mac) on the link.Clicking the link will bring the audio up in it's own window and so each audio link will produce it's own window. My apologies, remedy will be published soon. thanks l raw--26mar08

Anarchy is not chaos.

"Everytime someone tells me that they're hurting or restricting me for my own good or when the government informs they have to use more militaristic measures because they want to protect and secure my being, I get scared: real scared." l raw

Noise Poet,
LaymAn Raw
"Ridin' the Low Edge of
 High Tekkology"

LaymAn Raw has been hangin' along the north east pacific ocean, mucking around the swamps, ducking behind sand dunes and lurking around points and bays for lots of years.

Essentially he as been judged and labeled by an arrogant, uninformed hypocrital state bureaucracy. He is called "dead beat" dad. LaymAn totally disputes the state's claim and there's a wholbunchashit in regards to this affair. But boiled down to a couple of more sentences: LaymAn made a choice, a decision, not to submit to unwarrented state demands. He said, after trying multiple times to negotiate the issue, "Fuck You! COME TAKE ALL MY NOTHING!"

And so it has been for the last 20 or so years. LaymAn has been denied, trade/sportlicenses, passport, driver's license, opportunites to engage in business. He has pretty much been living, not only on the edge of ocean and coast, but also on the edge of our cultural society. more

Had some good jams @ flophousX these last few days. Adam, who's doing pretty good with band "Hallway Ballers" ... well he came up from Santa Cruz to take a break from the scene down there and get some good gray and rain and very cold conditions.Had some good jam time in flophousX music room, George was

leadin' the jam, adam drummed, georged drummed too, and even kaare drummed a session, i did a little hand drumming and some guitar... then lance came up the next day and we had a double bass (george and lance), adam on drums and me on guitar, it was pretty fun couple of three hours. Here's some of what went on....just free jam stuff, (remember-this will open aeparate window and play or you can download with a right click or option click on mac)

"...Ride the hiway as the sun turns into night. The cool breeze is blowin', I'm goin' no where. Dreams run in cricles and so do all our lives. Like the water that we use, like the clouds blowin' by. The etching shadows of the sucking sea and sky. The earth roates the sun shifts from day to night. Inside I know the answer is coastal land and sea. And dreams of waves and riding things remain a mystery to me..." l raw- B Movie

Found this on the web a while ago. Somebody must of been on the jetty takin' pics, I think, lookin' at that epoxy yellowd, 7 four, around mid 90's sometime. No, I don'tremember the day. How many sessions linger in lost files, numb to dendritational activity, just waitin' for a moment of recognition; a touch of nostalgia about.... this will give a bit of insight circa 1985 ten or 12 years before this shot was taken. -CraCrazy Joe and a few of the Sunset Lounge crew circa 1997/8?......

"Ol' Henry came from the valley to the deck of the sunset lounge; where he met up with Joe Fleming, a raging millionaire. Ol Henry had a rumblin', a stirrin' in his mind- to rustle up some cattlle on a daring midnite flight.

Hey there Joe gonna make big money. Yeah we just need a helicopter.

On a bridge to a ship to no where sippin' bloody mary's on the sand. Ol' Henry cornered Crazy with his far-fetched plan. Gonna need a helicopter and ready for a moonless nite. Gonna round up them doggies to a Mack truck on the lamb... come on Joe......" by Rayman Law- Ol Henry from Underdevelopedment.

Matilda from Sedro Wooley- I was fortunate enough (I didn't think so at the time) to be left out in the field one nite... when I was just a young calf; my horns hadn't even starting coming in yet... well there I was, pretty much alone and a bit frightend; coyotes and cougars and all. and I'm standin' next to the wire in the dark, reflecteing on how wonderful my mamacow's teat was and all of a sudden, there's this crazy commotion like all of hooferdom was dancin' a crazy mootal. Then silence and then.... I hear a buncha bad hoooman sounds of disgust and then, "That's right. I wrote a song about it." ...more

I don't know why, but I've never held the toothless in high regard. Maybe it's just my own cultural predjudices or I might be a bit self obsessed with my own strong baboonal mouthful or maybe some such reason I am currently unaware. But I became of a 'gummy man' at a show the other nite and I might just be ready to reconsider.... more

Adam from the Hall Ballers played, George Patecek from Pacific Rim Blue jammed on bass and drums and introduced a couple of his new songs. Crab fisher Russle sat in fon drums. Drunk Dustin played his brand new bass... he thought. Mat brought his PA and jammed some fine guitar... People sang... there was even a body wiggle or to too. Yeas dear reader, a good time was had by all. .Still lookin' to see if any pics or vids were taken...

Flophouse becomes FlophousX-

Alex Arnsdorf had an idea; some thoughts about living life. And he decided to conduct an experiment on a sandspit situated on a section of nepo swamplad stuck between a couple of bays.

Fishing had brought a 20 year old Alex to this section of coast and it was fishing which allowed him to purchase the property which would come to be known as FLOPHOUSE: the exploration of a social alternative to basic living circumstances between an eclectic group of,,,more soon

"As I enter into the 3rd trimester of this round of reality, I notice my wave drive has diminished somewhat. I don't know if it's location, physical malfunctioning, mental dysfunction, a lack of stoke or what. I know I still want to ride, but there seems to be some kind of drive coming from ? that is telling me to start playing out again, And it has been a while, so why not?" lraw '08

But then again.... on the 6 three this last week... great conditions for a rehabbing old fuck... just enough to make a gal think she's a surfer... which reminds me of a song... about a womanl... moniqua.. with a hot pink board and a white helmet... I believe... why, I think I wrote a song about it...

(PLAY) Hot Pink Board!

I really enjoy song writing and the creation of mu...noise. Playin' is awesome too. I've got an eclectic mix of audio and noise (maybe some might verge on musical) and have fun playing different tunes. I hope you can find some Noise of Interest which might entertain or maybe spark a thought or 73. Thanks for checkin' out the site. layman raw mar08
